"As I live and work near Hanover, AGRITECHNICA is a real “home game” for me. I’m all the more pleased these days about the international network of farmers and other players in agriculture and agricultural technology that meet up at AGRITECHNICA."

Veronika Riepl-Bauer, agricultural entrepreneur specializing in arable farming, seed potato production and biogas, Hildesheim (Hanover) region, Germany

The trade fair offers me a great opportunity to maintain my international contacts and make new ones. I also appreciate the many good contacts of the exhibitors, who offer very good information and exchange opportunities.

What interests me personally most about agricultural technology is what innovations are emerging, how close they to be available on the market for practical use and to what extent they could add value to our medium-sized arable farm here in Germany. I find technology for reducing operating resources particularly exciting. Due to the increasing complexity on farms, I am also interested in software for efficient farm management.

"Our history with Agritechnica began in 2009 when I visited them for the first time. A new world abundant with innovations, technologies and trends that have inspired us ever since.“

Alexandre Tuzzi, CEO, Tuzzi, Brasilien

Our history with Agritechnica began in 2009 when I visited them for the first time. A new world abundant with innovations, technologies and trends that have inspired us ever since.

Since then, we have been present at every edition of the fair, closely monitoring any developments in the global agribusiness sector around the world. Agritechnica consistently provides valuable knowledge and insights regarding our company's investments and directions. Our evolution is in full harmony with everything we have observed over these years.

We have continuously focused on our presence at the fair, encouraging our entire team to attend each event in an effort to seek technical updates, relationships, and new businesses.

"At AGRITECHNICA, we explore all the new technologies before they’re even been introduced in France. We look for specific solutions and plan our visit in advance—because in just two days, you really can’t see everything."

Jean-Hilaire Renaudat Saint Martin de Lamps, France

We’ve been to every single AGRITECHNICA since 2005. In the early years, we were mostly impressed by the sheer size of the exhibition and the machines of course. It was the “wow” effect!
Now, we look for specific solutions and plan our visit in advance—because in just two days, you really can’t see everything.

On our cereal farm in the Indre region in France, we grow 10 -12 crops. We've been practicing simplified cultivation techniques  for over 30 years, and rotations are essential to maintaining balance.

For the past 25 years, we've been optimizing our practices by localizing fertilizers. We analyze sap to adjust fertilizer inputs to plant needs. We are supported by several agronomists.

In terms of challengs, we are concerned about the problem of foxtail weeds and raygrass. We believe that soil imbalances may be the cause. Our current challenge is to rebalance the soil.

At AGRITECHNICA, we explore all the new technologies before they’re even been introduced in France. It will be inspiring to see what manufacturers from Canada, India, or China are developing. We always come back with a bag full of ideas!

"Over the years, visiting AGRITECHNICAhas become an integral part of how I stay informed and maintain valuable contacts as a farmer. In the heart of Europe agricultural technology is presented with a level of depth and diversity you rarely find elsewhere."

Alfred Schreiberhuber, Farmer Ansfelden/Linz, Austria

Over the years, visiting AGRITECHNICAhas become an integral part of how I stay informed and maintain valuable contacts as a farmer.

In the heart of Europe agricultural technology is presented with a level of depth and diversity you rarely find elsewhere.

Every time I attend Agritechnica, two things stand out as especially important to me: the machinery on display and the personal networking. The broad range of equipment gives me a comprehensive overview of the current state of technology and is a great way to conduct meaningful comparisons.

At the same time, future developments are showcased and that’s something I find especially valuable in a world where change is happening faster than ever.

What I particularly appreciate are the many conversations with company owners, managers, and technicians. They allow me to exchange ideas and take away fresh inspiration for my own work on the farm.

The high-quality professional program is also a plus point, even if I can only attend selected sessions due to time constraints.

All of these impressions and insights play a key role in helping me make well-informed investment decisions for the farm.

But what makes AGRITECHNICAtruly special for me is its international character – it opens up new perspectives and helps me broaden my horizon.

"As a large-scale organic vegetable farmer, the challenge is always labour so any robotic solutions that can help us out is always of interest."

Axel Månsson, organic and conventional farmer, Brande, Denmark

I have been to nearly every AGRITECHNICA  over the last 20 years. To me it is chance to encounter new tools under development. GPS is nearly “old hat“ now and we are a lot further now in terms of precision farming. Many of the innovations I have purchased I have either discovered at AGRITECHNICA  or I have heard about it and have been able to inspect closer.

As a large-scale organic vegetable farmer in Denmark, the challenge is always labour so any robotic solutions that can help us out is always of interest. Right now I am looking to see how I can combine autonomous equipment that can then conduct mechanical weeding more efficiently.

I look forward to visiting AGRITECHNICA  in November 2025.

"AGRITECHNICA is the only place where I can meet farmers from all over the world. Connecting with practitioners is the most important thing and at AGRITECHNICA I can inspect the latest machines while exchanging knowledge with people from farming regions across the globe.“

Mateusz Kierdal, farmer growing corn, wheat, rapeseed, soya and owner of AGRI EXPERT, Zubrzyce, opolskie Poland

AGRITECHNICA is the only place where I can meet farmers from all over the world. Connecting with practitioners is the most important thing and at AGRITECHNICA I can not only inspect the latest machines, I also have the opportunity to network and exchange knowledge with people from all around the globe. In turn, as an entrepreneur, an agribusiness and company owner, I count on establishing new business contacts and finding technological partners that I could become a dealer of in Poland.

Already as a student I had the opportunity to participate in this exhibition. Today I do so as a farmer and entrepreneur, taking my customers there to see what the future of agricultural technology can be.

I have been visiting AGRITECHNICA for 15 years and I always look for both technological inspiration and solutions that I am able to implement. This year I am particularly interested in technologies that support lower fertilizer and water consumption.

"AGRITECHNICA is the premier show for me. The biennial timing is ideal: I use the show to contribute to my investment decisions, and to view agriculture from a wider lens."

Martin Williams, Arable farmer, Hereford, UK

AGRITECHNICA is the premier show for me. The biennial timing is ideal: I use the show to contribute to my investment decisions, and to view agriculture from a wider lens.“

I will be looking at robotics closely this time. My neighbour has used a  robot for planting sugar beet and so i am curious at the range of robot solutions available and in development at AGRITECHNICA.

Right now the challenge for farmers in the UK is to maintain a resilient business which offers profitability. Technology is key to achieving that.

Farming without subsidy is a future concern. One key thing now is to look for niches and gaps in the market for the producer.

I am going to Hanover in November and plan to stay for at least three days. With that much to look at you really need time. But I also look forward to networking with my colleagues from other countries. A trip to AGRITECHNICA is a great investment, knowledge is everything.

„I think AGRITECHNICA is a great opportunity to see whats going on in the Agroindustry. In just a few days you have the opportunity to meet all the manufacturers of the newest farming technology – all of it in a single location.“

Peter Vlasák, Czech Republic.

I think AGRITECHNICA is a great opportunity to see whats going on in the Agroindustry. In just a few days you have the opportunity to meet all the manufacturers of the newest farming technology – all of it in a single location.

It’s a really good chance to see what’s new in the industry and what are the most current trends.

At AGRITECHNICA you can compare different solutions from different producers. And here you can see the newest solutions that everybody will be using in a few years.

“My husband and I have been attending AGRITECHNICA for more than 20 years. It's a fun trip that always brings new inspiration, new ideas, and interesting conversations. In 2025, I am expecting to see the progress in the development of specific weed control in crops: green to green.”

Arina van Schaik, Egyházasrádóc, Hungary

My husband and I have been attending AGRITECHNICA for more than 20 years. It's a fun trip that always brings new inspiration, new ideas, and interesting conversations. In 2025, I am expecting to see the progress in the development of specific weed control in crops: green to green

As joint managers of our 1200 ha arable farm in Hungary since 2005, my husband and I have attended AGRITECHNICA together and sometimes we have brought our employees.

At the trade fair, we manage some things together, especially contacting suppliers and gathering information about planned business developments. However, we also sometimes divide the visit between the two of us to explore our specialized competences. I like to attend technical presentations, while my husband prefers to quickly browse the halls in search of technical surprises. However, it's always nice to be out there together and come home with new ideas.

“I am particularly interested in seeing the spraying equipment using variable rate. The technology today is more and more precise, which will help protect my crop and with less input.”

Jason Friesen, a large-scale arable farmer from Watson, Saskatchewan, growing wheat, canola, barley, peas, lentils and hemp.

”I am particularly interested in seeing the spraying equipment using variable rate. The technology today is more and more precise, which will help protect my crop and with less input. Cost saving is a big thing for us right now with the tariffs on input squeezing margins. It basically costs more and more to grow. Other challenges are the environment and government regulations.

I was amazed that AGRITECHNICAhad so much impressive technology right down to the individual component. I saw a lot of technology that we don’t have yet, for example the wide range of variable rate technology with prescription maps so I am looking forward to exploring those halls again.“

"Agritechnica gives me the opportunity to meet with farmers, engineers and designers from all over the world. I first visited Agritechnica in 2013, and have never missed this agricultural masterpiece since."

Farmers Voices, Elmar Steenkamp, Gauteng, South Africa

After that, I introduced precision farming in 2015 on tractors and was amazed at the saving in input cost, but most of all: the navigation system allows you to focus 85-90% of the time, on the implement.

Apart from saving fuel and time, precision farming also saves on labour. In the past, when spreading fertilizer or planting, you had your tractor operator and two additional labourers, one at one end of the field and another at the other end, operating as markers for the tractor operator to know where he needs to go. This is anything but precision, as every labourers’ length in stride differs!

My second future investment will be automation and optimisation of my resources. Automation eliminates the possibility of human error, and you save time.

At AGRITECHNICA, you can see all the new and old technology available to the agricultural sector and you can get accurate figures of what your savings are going to be if you implement the technology and apply it to your farming operation.

The one thing that differentiates AGRITECHNICA from any other agricultural exhibition, is that you can speak to the development engineer, find out what the idea behind the design was and how to optimise the use of the implement. AGRITECHNICA caters for all types of farming and every time I visit, there are new innovations.

As a South African farmer, we face many challenges, including competitiveness, socio-economic, socio-political, crime, water scarcity and rising costs. Labour and energy supply are two of the greatest overhead costs.

AGRITECHNICA gives me the opportunity to meet with farmers, engineers, designers etc. from all over the world. I was pleasantly surprised on my last visit in 2023, to meet more South African farmers at AGRITECHNICA.

Every farm has its own identity, but from talking and interacting with these people, I gain insight into what other farmers from other parts of the world struggle with and discuss what possible solution there are, or solutions that they have already implemented.

I have had the honour to build relationships with different suppliers and farmers through AGRITECHNICA. I truly believe that the South African farmers can give valuable contributions to other farmers due to the common saying in South Africa;” ‘n boer maak ‘n plan” translated in English;” A farmer makes a plan”, and that is one thing we as SA farmers specialise in, we always have a plan and a solution if a problem occurs.

"AGRITECHNICA 2025 is already firmly in our dairies. I visit every edition of AGRITECHNICA because it's important to me to always be up to date, as technologies are developing rapidly."

José María Martín Herrero, farmer and contractor owner of Agrimarca, Palencia, Castilla y León, Spain

AGRITECHNICA 2025 is already firmly in our dairies. I farm with my brother, growing wheat, oat, forage grops and sunflower. I visit every edition  of AGRITECHNICA and I even bough the jacket!

I have some clear aims before attending the show. This year for example I am interested in seeing close-up the sprayer from John Deere, which will be commercialized shortly. This is a sprayer that has some 36 cameras  and is able to target crop. Then I want to see equipment from a Canadian and Australian company that can destroy weed mechanically. My focus on sprayers right now is to reduce input costs but also to conserve the soil and healthy plants. There is no point in spraying where it is not needed.

Every year I need to update myself on what is avaiable as the technologies are developing at a fast pace.

The challenges in Spain at the moment are rainfall and drought and global prices for wheat and inputs. I want to use technical solutions to adapt to this situation.

I look forward to seeing the full range of technologies at AGRITECHNICA. Last time there were over 20 pavilions and I managed to work my way through most of them.

I recommend that Spanish farmers staying in Hanover for at least three nights, the first night to get ready for the trade fair and then one full day. The impressions from that day leaves you wanting more so you need a second day. The shuttles take visitors from hall to hall, although you can walk.

The metro in Hanover takes you to any point in the city, including to the trade fair. There are convenient flights for example Madrid-Paris-Hanover. That is the one I am taking

"AGRITECHNICA is always a highlight for me, because I can get detailed information about future business investments there. I also enjoy the professional and creative dialogue and the great DLG network."

Benjamin Beisecker, Young DLG Working Group, arable farmer and contractor in North Hesse

I attended my first AGRITECHNICA at the age of six with my father. As I grew up in agriculture, I was always very interested in technology. Later, I organised several bus trips to AGRITECHNICA at the technical school, followed by a visit to the Young Famers Party. Today, AGRITECHNICA is always a highlight for me because I can get detailed information about future business investments there. I meet my business partners there and get a very good overview of all the technical innovations. I also enjoy the professional and creative dialogue and the great DLG network.

I run an arable farm in northern Hesse, where we grow sugar beet, ware potatoes and grain fennel in addition to cereals and rapeseed. I also have a contracting company where we offer contract threshing, plant protection and soil sampling. AGRITECHNICA is a great opportunity to find out about these specialised areas, particularly in the fields of special crops and soil sampling technology.

"As a passionate arable farmer, it is essential to be involved with technical progress. In the technical field, AGRITECHNICA is the ideal platform to talk to manufacturers about their products and our needs."

Lutz Scheibler, farmer from Poppendorf near Rostock and Managing Director of Agrar Union Poppendorf

Meeting and exchanging ideas with colleagues from other parts of the country that you haven't seen for a long time may sometimes slow down the trade fair visit, but it is just as valuable as talking to the exhibitors.

AGRITECHNICA offers us the opportunity to compare the machine ranges of different manufacturers with our employees and to discuss investments.

I own a conventional market crop farm in Poppendorf near Rostock. My employees and I grow rapeseed, wheat, barley, rye, sugar beet and maize on around 4000 hectares.
