Low emission zone
In order to improve air quality and reduce particulate matter pollution, Hanover has set up a signposted low emission zone. Only vehicles labelled with a fine dust sticker are allowed to enter this zone. The exhibition centre is located outside Hannover's low emission zone. In many areas of the city, however, you have needed a green fine dust sticker since 1 January 2009.
You can find more detailed information about environmental zones and fine dust stickers on the TÜV-Nord website. There you can order your environmental sticker online or buy it at any TÜV station or vehicle registration office.
Caravan site
